Our expansive and growing network empowers seamless access to a comprehensive range of travel options and services globally with over $750 million transactions annually - all at the industry’s best rates.

As an industry leader in technology, purchasing, finance, HR and marketing, we know how to deliver solutions to travel professionals in the most effective way possible. With deep experience in partnering with two leading brands in the luxury travel space – Kensington Tours and Travel Edge – TripArc has real insight into the needs of tour operators and travel agencies today.

TripArc’s goals are simple : to make our network of over 1400 travel entities more profitable, efficient and help them create truly unique travel for their clients.

TripArc is seeking a distinguished leader to join our team as Vice President, Cruise Platform, a critical role responsible for directing the strategy, development, and financial performance of our cutting-edge cruise booking platform. This innovative solution is designed to empower luxury travel advisors with seamless access to premium cruise itineraries, exclusive offerings, and sophisticated booking tools tailored to their discerning clientele. The Vice President will drive revenue growth, enhance platform adoption, and position TripArc as a leader in the luxury cruise sector.

This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive cruise industry experience and a strong background in cruise booking technology. The successful candidate will spearhead the transformation of our cruise module into a best-in-class platform, delivering exceptional value to luxury travel advisors and fostering robust partnerships with leading cruise lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight : Formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy for the cruise booking platform, addressing the unique demands of luxury travel advisors and their high-net-worth clients.
  • Financial Stewardship : Oversee the platform’s profit and loss statement, optimizing revenue streams and ensuring long-term profitability.
  • Product Leadership : Partner with product, engineering, and user experience teams to develop a high-performing, intuitive platform that elevates the cruise booking process.
  • Industry Insight : Track market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological innovations to maintain the platform’s edge in the cruise industry.
  • Partnership Development : Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to boost platform engagement, while building strategic relationships with cruise line executives and key industry partners.
  • Operational Integrity : Manage platform operations, ensuring pricing accuracy, itinerary reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Analytical Decision-Making : Leverage performance metrics and user data to enhance platform functionality, pricing models, and business strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Integration : Work closely with other TripArc business units to align the cruise platform with the company’s broader objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the cruise industry, with a focus on technology-driven booking platforms, revenue management, or strategic supplier relationships.
  • Proven leadership in a product-oriented setting, with a demonstrated ability to achieve commercial success.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cruise distribution channels, booking technology, and the operational needs of luxury travel advisors.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with a history of engaging senior cruise industry stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a profit and loss statement and driving revenue growth in a technology or platform business.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to guide strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences, from team members to executive leadership.
  • A results-driven mindset, with the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Why Join TripArc?

This role presents a distinctive opportunity to lead the evolution of TripArc’s cruise booking platform, establishing it as the premier tool for luxury travel advisors worldwide. As Vice President, you will play an instrumental role in creating a platform that exceeds the expectations of a sophisticated market, while advancing TripArc’s mission to innovate within the travel industry. Join a forward-thinking organization dedicated to excellence, and help us deliver a cruise booking solution that sets a new standard in luxury travel.
