Position Overview :

Reporting to the Executive Director, Capital Markets, the Senior Foreign Exchange (FX) Analyst is responsible for supporting projects associated with Foreign Exchange (FX) and Capital Markets Risk Management products & product launches through research and analysis, working closely with the Capital Markets users, internal departments and outside vendors.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct detailed data analysis on FX and Capital Markets Risk Management products to identify revenue opportunities.
• Prepare annual financial plans and monthly / quarterly budgeting and forecast models incorporating various business and economic drivers for revenue and expense projections.
• Perform quarter and month-end financial & management reporting with attention to detail and maintain LOB KPIs to support corporate dashboard and Board reports.
• Apply data extraction experience to support creating new management and statistical reporting.
• Review management and Board reporting related to Foreign Exchange in support of the Monthly Business Review (MBR) meetings.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial information for business units.
• Maintain working relationships with the finance and treasury departments, parent entities, and strengthen internal control environment and governance.
• Provide reporting tailored to the leadership team, the board of directors, parent companies (CIBC / BNY) and industry regulatory institutions.
• Participate in special projects as required.
