As a member of the Investment Management team, you will provide support to the Investment Planning Process as well as various financial, business process, and reporting tasks.
The Investment Management Department (IM) is the central coordinating arm of the Investment Planning Process and the Investment Approvals Process.
Your job duties may include :
- Support senior staff with effective planning, management, monitoring, and execution of the investment plan.
- Assist in the business approval processes (e.g., business cases and work release) associated with project implementation.
- Support in-year investment re-direction and other ad-hoc investment management projects and analyses as required.
- Prepare investment management and other reports and presentations as required.
- Support the division and business unit regarding investment management processes, implementation, and training.
- Maintain the Copperleaf C55 Investment Planning software and assist with related software project upgrades.

- Gain knowledge and insight into Investment Management and Investment Planning processes.
- Engage in conversations related to investment management processes with various process owners across Hydro One.

Selection Criteria :
- Minimum completion of 2 years Bachelor in Business, Engineering, or Finance.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint is considered an asset.
- The ability to work in a busy environment with competing and changing priorities.
