Reporting to our Senior Software Development Manager for our Platform team, you'll lead a team of experienced software engineers and you'll help us enhance developer productivity, cross-platform device independence and software platform consistency.
You'll lead a team of engineers through our product roadmap for the core Fusion 360 platform and help us achieve cross-platform device independence.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 6-8 software engineers, QA, Product Owner, Architect working within a Scrum framework on high quality solutions in response to stakeholder requirements.
- Sustain the performance of your team by communicating clear organizational goals and removing impediments.
- Set and fulfil the engineering hiring plan for the team, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Inspire and motivate team members to improve productivity and foster creativity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing feedback, coaching and tracking performance. Support individual training and career development.
- Oversee both the software development process and technology to help make the right decisions while driving improvements and adjustments.
- Work with product managers, product owners, software architects and key stakeholders to draft release plans for product delivery.
- Foster cross-team collaboration to accomplish organizational goals.
- Be the spokesperson for the team and champion their accomplishments with upper management and adjacent teams.
- Be comfortable working with globally distributed peers and team members.
- Be comfortable working with team members who are working in a hybrid-remote model (where not all employees come to the office regularly).
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in a technology and / or software company
- Demonstrated experience managing software development teams responsible for delivering products or services to enterprise customers
- Experience managing complex software projects with dependencies to other development teams and timelines
- Deep understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle from analyzing needs to delivery of working software
- 4+ years of experience leading teams of mid and senior level software engineers, QA, Product Owner and Software Architects
- Understanding of Agile software development principles
- Knowledge and experience with web technology stack, cloud computing, and cloud database technologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline (or equivalent experience will be considered)

- Experience delivering a complex platform project
- Programming and developing software in C++
- Lead Agile practices
- Cross platform (Windows, OS-X, Linux) software development experience
- Mobile, API and Browser development experience
- Project Management Certification
