We partner with over 65 mainstream lenders and offer more than 7,000 products to help Canadian families achieve their homeownership dreams.
About the Role :
We are seeking highly motivated Mortgage Underwriters to manage mortgage deals, underwriting, and approval processes, contributing to the growth of our business. You will work alongside Mortgage Agents to help fund deals, advising and structuring deals to maximize returns, ensure timely responses, increase efficiency, and maintain compliance standards.
Requirements
A typical week includes :
- Providing advice and solutions tailored to clients' needs
- Completing and assessing mortgage applications, credit checks, searches, and underwriting requirements
- Ensuring applications meet compliance and lender guidelines
- Preparing Signature and Compliance packages
- Staying updated on processing requirements and following submission steps
- Coordinating with clients' lawyers and appraisers to meet closing dates
- Building relationships with lenders
Success in this role requires :
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year + bonus incentives
Schedule : 8-hour shifts
