Contract ESG support and systems analyst ID615

M3C issearching an incorporated consultant in ESGSupport Systems Analyst(ID615) . Thecontact is for 12 months and could berenewed.

It srequired to be working in the Toronto office at least 3 days aweek. Theclient is in the miningfield. You need to beincorporated.

Briefly :

Theperson will be responsible for the support and maintenance ofseveral applications as well as analyzing implementing supportingand upgrading the software.

This role will be a dedicated resourceto users to ensure timely resolution and provide exclusive supportin their daytoday operations.

Reportingto the ESG Lead Analyst the role will be responsible forcommunicating interruptions in system availability and managing theimplementation of all major upgrades.

Inaddition the analyst will also support technologyrelatedinitiatives or tasks on an as needed basis and act as a back up toteam members whennecessary.

Globaltravel will be required to ensure effective adoption andsustainability of thesystem.

Responsibilities :

ApplicationsSupport(50%) :

• Ensuresthat the Systems are setup and configured to streamline the needeffectively;
• Managesoftware patches asrequired;
• Developreports anddashboards;
• Understanduser needs and proactively providesolutions;
• Performdevelopment documentation test and implementationsphases;
• Providesupport and training tousers;
• Grantand update users securityroles;
• Supportinterfaces related toESG;
• Validatedata and fixerrors;
• Keepsupport and projects documentation up todate;
• Travelto sites as required to support users and to ensure long termsustainability of the platforms may berequired.

ESGAnalysis(50%) :

• Activelysupporting IT projects (mostly related toESG);
• Providebackup support to team members asrequired;
• Participatein technology initiatives and projects asrequired.

Requirements :

• Successfulcompletion of postsecondary education in computer science ordemonstrated aptitude / experience in technologysupport;
• Experienceof working with ESG applications(asset);
• Experienceof working with JDE(asset);
• Workexperience in mining industry(asset);
• Workexperience in Health & Safety(asset);
• Workexperience in Environment(asset);
• Excellenttroubleshooting and problemsolvingskills;
• Aselfstarter with the creativity to solve problems bothindependently andcollaboratively;
• Abilityto learn new concepts systems and software independently andquickly;
• Provenability to work with all levels of anorganization;
• Mustbe able to communicate with nontechnical and technical userssimultaneously;
• Strongcommunication skills both written and oral with the capability toproduce clear and effectivedocumentation;
