Responsibilities :

Business Data analyst with SQL expertise

Any data engineering skills with indepth banking domainknowledge regarding US Regulations and FDIC specifically

Excellent communicator Selfmanaged / starter goodbusiness / tech communicator troubleshooting bugfixes / identification / root analysis.

StrongProblemSolving skills

Banking experience orproduct domain knowledge.

BDA Role as below

Business Data Requirements (not technicalsystem requirements)

Work with Data Owners / DataStewards / LOBs / Business Users to develop / validate / refine businessrequirements

Liaise with data users to elicitanalyze and document business data curation requests (userstories)

Write requests (user stories) and BRDsdescribing project business requirements.

ViewValidate and Profile data in TD Assets / 3rd Party Vendor assetsusing various tools (SQL Developer Alteryx Python SAS) to ensurethe asset contains the needed data / elements

Workwith data stewards to understand current fields and theirdefinitions / calculation

Work with businesspartners on User support stories asset access guiding principlesproper usage training

Partner with BSAs tovalidate / update business / technical logic in technology owneddocuments to ensure it meets the business datarequirement

Define manage and maintain businessapplication repository and make sure the production inventory is upto date

Support IT Sol. Lead to analyze currentstate of data flow and table update behavior.

Business Testing (not SIT QE or UAT LOBs)

Oversee testing progress / leading business acceptancetesting efforts in all environments

Work withproject teams to obtain a list of data elements impacted to preparefor BAT / functional testing

Assist with thedevelopment of test plan for projects and BAU work; ensuring allbusiness data requirements / data elements are thoroughlytested

Validate test data / table loads prior tostart of BAT / functional Testing

BAT / functionalTesting in all environments DEV / SIT / PAT / Production

Review business data impact analysis with end users tovalidate what was built meets their needs or to document acceptablethreshold variance approvals

Verification ofrecords counts in source and target systems / databases duringBAT / functional testing

Matching of data sets forthe backfills

Assist power users with preProdUAT

Design and create code to specification SQLscripts based on technical logic to store in repository for dataelement regression BAT / functional testing

Raiseand track defects found during BAT / functional testing / UAT to ensurecorrected before production release

Auditreference files to ensure accurate data

Obtainand document sign off from end users on BAT / Functional Testingresults

ProjectCoordination / Administration

Coordinate withProduct Group to meet release dates

Coordinatewith Business Teams / Product Groups to ensure product is deliveredtimely and correctly

Attend all project meetingsand ceremonies

Production Support

Work with SQL / ETL Devs on projects that requireproduction code development

Work withStakeholders to assess solution performance in production and tweakif necessary
