The successful candidate will assist in many aspects of seed quality analysis. This is a unique opportunity to work with leading edge technology and talented research scientists seeking to deliver the best products.
Job Description
- Participate in receiving, sorting, cleaning and scanning seed samples.
- Packing or loading of seed samples for quality analysis.
- Organization of seed inventory and supplies.
- Following company safety rules and standard operating procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Skills Required
- Highly motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Possess strong ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to concentrate for sustained periods of time.
- Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative.
- Flexible attitude and ability to learn new procedures.
- Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks.
- Excellent computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel).
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Education / Training / Certifications
High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Degree.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
- Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM or 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM for workday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM for weekend.
Pay Rate / Salary
Estimated Salary : $8.00 to $21.00 per hour based on qualifications.
