Job Summary

If you're interested inan Entry Level Seed Technician job, then this is the best role for you! Seed Technicians support the breeding organization. Technicians will assist with various aspects of seed quality analysis, contributing to the development of the company’s canola pipeline. This is a unique opportunity to work with advanced technology and collaborate with experienced research scientists in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.

Job Description

  • Participate in receiving, sorting, cleaning and scanning seed samples
  • Packing or loading of seed samples for quality analysis
  • Organization of seed inventory and supplies
  • Following company safety rules and standard operating procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills Required

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to concentrate for sustained periods.
  • Quick learner with initiative to work autonomously.

    • Education / Training / Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

    • Additional Requirements

  • Availability to work assigned shifts, including weekends.
  • Shifts : 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm or 10 : 00am-6 : 30pm on weekdays, and 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm on weekends.
  • Adherence to safety standards and operating procedures.

    • Pay Rate / Salary

  • Estimated Salary : $15.00 to $22.86per hour based on qualifications.
