What is the role?
The Franchise Sales Coordinator works closely with Senior Franchise Director to compile reports, follow-up on franchise leads, maintain a database of franchise prospects and exhibit at franchise shows.
The incumbent will work closely with the marketing department to assist in implementation of franchise marketing initiatives.
This role is also responsible for distribution of franchise information packages and franchise disclosure documents.
What will you do?
- Prepare and distribute franchise disclosure documents for Pet Valu Canada Inc. ( PVCI ) and Bosley’s Pet Food Plus ( Bosley’s ) (Canada)
- Maintain filing system for prospect applications, disclosure receipts and deposit receipts.
- Compile and send franchise information packages to franchise leads and maintain database of franchise leads
- Maintain and update list of available locations on franchise website
- Compile reports for Senior Franchise Director as needed
- Coordinating POP requests for stores through Marketing approximately three times per year. Writing internal communications / memo’s regarding contest rules.
- Investigate and test new methods of marketing franchise opportunities across Canada
- Responding to inquiries from prospective franchisees and the general public as the initial point of contact with Pet Valu.
What will you need to succeed?
Education and Experience
- Post secondary diploma or degree, preferably in Liberal Arts or Business related discipline.
- 1 2 years in an office environment.

- Must possess excellent written communication skills
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to build persuasive and professional presentation content
- High level of proficiency in MS Office programs including : Word, Excel and Access, with demonstrated ability to perform mail merge (Word), import external data, filter columns (Excel), and create database queries (Access)
