What you'll do :

  • Participating in pre-grand opening activities including networking, events, and marketing drop-offs within the community
  • Helping with grand opening and clinic events
  • Checking in clients for appointments, scheduling appointments, conducting appointment and follow-up reminders
  • Educating clients on payment options, trial periods, benefit submissions and direct-billing options, and provincial / federal funding programs for products and services
  • Ordering clinic supplies and maintaining a clean and welcoming clinic environment
  • Performing basic hearing aid maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining client files (physically and virtually) with accurate information
  • Attending ongoing community events and activities on behalf of HearCANADA for community involvement visibility and ongoing networking of our services

What we are looking for :

  • Completion of post-secondary schooling or relevant courses or certificates in sales, marketing, administration, customer service, or health care would be considered a definite asset
  • A confident and energetic demeanour to attend marketing events and comfortability in networking and promoting our clinic offerings within the community
  • Knowledge of the local community and health care landscape or direct experience with events or conferences would be a definite asset
  • Comfortability with sales and sales targets; experience in retail would be a definite asset
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, and community partners
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office
  • Based on the nature of the role, a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required as some localized travel will be required (mileage paid)
  • Bilingualism in Mandarin or Cantonese would be a definite asset
  • What we offer :

  • Attractive compensation package including a competitive hourly rate + a bonus program
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits starting on your first day (+ a healthcare spending account, ++ these health benefits are 100% employer-paid!)
  • Generous vacation and personal day policies
  • Attractive working hours
  • RRSP program with employer-matching starting in your first week
  • Education assistance program and ongoing mentorship / professional development opportunities
  • A culture that promotes inclusivity and a shared passion in making a positive impact in our community
  • HearCANADA is committed to fair and accessible employment practices, and we welcome and encourage applications from candidates with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking place in all aspects of the selection process.
