Salary range : 90K to 170K (depending on experience)

What You Will Do

• Profitably execute trading strategies based on sound fundamental drivers and risk management principles.
• Assist in market analysis and strategy development across all relevant energy sectors.
• Assist in process and tool development.
• Collaborate with other traders to enhance overall team profitability.

What You Will Bring :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in energy trading, with a focus on electricity markets.
• Demonstration of profitability in the Northeast or Alberta power markets (physical, financial, or virtual markets).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of multiple ISOs rules, protocols, and fundamental drivers :
• MISO, SPP, PJM, NYISO, ISONE, IESO, AB
• Proven experience trading futures on ICE and / or virtual products in various ISOs.
• Experience in FTR / TCC analysis and trading is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in using various data services and trading tools.
• Strong team player who actively collaborates with other traders to enhance overall team profitability.
