Who are you?

You are an experienced Schedule Management Leader with 15+ years post-graduate experience looking to take on or expand into a national functional lead role.

You are a knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic individual motivate to lead our Scheduling team to look after our continuing growth and make the difference to both our business and our clients.

Job Description

You will be a Director within our Infrastructure business working internally to develop and grow the scheduling service line, and externally to build business.

The main purpose of the role is :

  • Support our clients by delivering successful scheduling commissions
  • Develop, mentor, and recruit staff to continue to grow the team
  • Create new revenue generation by seeking new opportunities through bids and business generation
  • Lead development of service line refinement, including community of practice, standardized process and procedure, corporate governance, and communications

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, develop, motivate, and grow a team of professionals to provide high quality schedule services to our clients
  • Oversee the development of a national Schedule Management function, including provision of functional expertise and guidance
  • Effectively manage teams and stakeholders to build productive relationships, internally and externally
  • Review and implement standardized ways of working and collaborate with other project controls leads on developing the service lines
  • Provide clients with an exceptional and tailored scheduling approach to meet their project needs, including but not limited to;

planning, developing, and maintaining Master Schedule, schedule basis, managing the progress measurement and earned value, schedule reporting, QSRA, change implementation, KPI implementation and schedule management plan

  • Ensure high quality and consistent outputs for all our client commissions
  • Focus on networking and business development to create new revenue growth
  • Actively seek out diversification opportunities to grow the service line
  • Contribute and / or lead bid preparation to win new work
  • Internal operational accountabilities for corporate compliance, and commission and financial management

Qualifications

  • Recognized degree in engineering or relevant discipline
  • AACE, PMI, or RICS qualifications an asset
  • Significant experience in scheduling for large scale and complex projects and programs; particularly in the aviation and / or rail sectors
  • Experience across complex portfolios and programs beneficial
  • Detailed knowledge of scheduling software including Primavera P6 and Acumen Fuse
  • Proven experience and demonstrated strong people leadership capabilities
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including leading workshops and presenting content to C-suite
  • Experience in senior level strategic positions
