Our Non-Profit client is hiring a Director of Operations to join their team on a full time, permanent basis! This is an exciting opportunity working in a hybrid model throughout the GTA.
The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing daily operations, financial management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and provide a positive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage daily operations, oversee finances, and ensure legal compliance.
- Supervise and evaluate all programs and services, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Adhere to policies, mission, vision, and values, while ensuring safety, respect, and community promotion.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Ministry of Community and Social Services regulations, and other relevant legislation.
- Oversee service delivery to ensure quality, safety, and well-being of members and staff.
- Align services with organizational mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Identify service gaps and implement improvements.
- Develop initiatives to support organizational and sector growth.
- Lead, coach, and mentor middle management to develop talent.
- Enhance member-directed support and collaborative practices.
- Respond to calls for proposals and provide on-call support for emergencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Participate in internal and sector committee meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in developmental disabilities, health, or mental health within community settings.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
- Strong understanding of developmental services, mental health, and related regulations.
- Strong leadership, management, networking, and community engagement skills.
- Experience with collective agreements and unionized environments.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Project management and computer skills; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
