POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identify SAP HR database gaps, configuration and master data issues
- Collaborate with internal departments for resolution of data issues
- Validate employee pension data set-up, changes and transfers to vendors as per regulations
- Validate pension payrolls and related items
- Retrieve pension data using queries to serve internal and external clients
- Perform year-end activities
- Assist in US qualified plan audits and non-discrimination testing
- Handle profit sharing allocations and payment for qualified and non-qualified accounts
- Prepare documentation for DB Pension Committees and 401k Investment Committee
- Prepare documentation for ERISA and DOL filing of annual qualified plan
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Post-Secondary Education
- HR or Pension Certification or Designation
- Experience with DB and DC pension administration requirements
- Experience with 401k plan design and administration requirements
- Experience with form 5500 filing
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with SAP or HRIS systems
- Knowledge of self-directed brokerage accounts and 401k plans would be an asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Work efficiently with large volumes of data, while thinking critically to resolve issues
- Adhere to Confidentiality Rules and Regulations dealing with personal information
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
- Work effectively in a team environment
