We are seeking an Assembly Fitter to join Delta, British Columbia location/team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Assembly Fitter will be responsible for the build and packaging of various assemblies. The Assembly Fitter will build, and not limited to: CMX/CMR series assemblies, Gear Pumps, Piston Pumps, Linear Drives, and Tilt-Trim Cylinder Assemblies.

Responsibilities
- Follow all the safety policies of the company, safe working procedures, emergency procedures and accident and safety reporting procedures
- Safely, efficiently, and effectively build, test, package and label assemblies
- Packaging and labelling of product
- Lifting up to 20-40 pounds
- Managing the organization of inventory systems and the corresponding cycle counts
- Maintains, cleans, and organizes the work areas
- Perform general clean up.
- Assist in internal or external audits
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment, standing for most of the day and performing repetitive tasks
- Comfortable lifting up to 20-40 pounds
- Ability to follow process and visual aids
- Adaptable, flexible and available to work different shifts (rotational shift- Day Shift, Afternoon Shift, or Graveyard) based on the needs of the business
- Ability to follow process and visual aids
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to take any additional training/courses as required
- Occupational First Aid Attendant certified or willingness to do so
- Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
- Good dexterity
- Available for overtime (Asset)
- Valid Forklift Operators license (Asset)
Hours
- Monday to Friday - Day shift, Afternoon shift and Weekend shift
