Reports To: Vice President, Technology Solutions

About TLD – IT & AV Technology Solutions

TLD, a division of London Drugs, is a leading provider of IT infrastructure, managed services, networking, cybersecurity, and Audio Visual (AV) technology solutions across Western Canada. For more than 40 years, we’ve supported public and private sector organizations with integrated technology services, exceptional customer support, and strong vendor partnerships.

We are a people‑first organization — we invest in our clients, our partners, and our team. That commitment drives our long‑term success.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a General Manager to lead the TLD division and drive strategic growth across our IT and AV business lines. This senior leadership role oversees P&L performance, sales strategy, operations, vendor partnerships, and team development.

If you are a technology‑focused leader who excels at building teams, driving revenue, and strengthening customer relationships, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of a well‑established technology services organization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team across sales, engineering, operations, and service
  • Support recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
  • Build a collaborative, inclusive, high‑performance culture aligned with TLD values
Financial & Business Management

  • Own full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Drive margin improvement, cost optimization, and sustainable growth
  • Oversee commission plans, incentive programs, and financial governance
Vendor & Partner Management

  • Strengthen relationships with major IT and AV vendors, distributors, and OEM partners
  • Negotiate pricing, agreements, MDF, and program participation
  • Lead vendor business reviews and evaluate new partnership opportunities
Sales Strategy & Market Growth

  • Guide sales strategy, solution focus, and market positioning
  • Support complex deal analysis, RFP responses, pricing, and contract evaluation
  • Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
Operations & Service Excellence

  • Oversee operational structure, resource planning, and workflow optimization
  • Drive adoption of modern systems, automation, and data‑driven processes
  • Ensure strong service delivery, project execution, and customer satisfaction
Marketing & Brand Alignment

  • Provide oversight on marketing strategy, brand consistency, and partner marketing
  • Approve campaigns, digital content, and external communications
What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in IT, AV, technology services, or related industries
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear strategies and measurable outcomes
  • Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field
  • Knowledge or experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or AV technology
Why Join TLD

  • Lead a seasoned IT and AV team in an established, growing organization
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • London Drugs Employee Discount
  • Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development
  • Employee Family Assistance Program
  • A people‑first culture that values leadership, innovation, and collaboration
