We have partnered with a leading building material company that is adding Electrical Techs to their team!

Job Title: Electrical Technologist

Location: Brampton, ON

Pay Range: $83,000+/year

What's the Job?

Support manufacturing plants by troubleshooting electrical systems and improving safety protocols
Develop and own electrical equipment designs based on standards and user requirements
Update legacy systems to current technological standards
Program automation and control systems, including PLCs and HMIs, to enhance manufacturing efficiency
Manage electrical projects from scheduling to commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and quality

What's Needed?

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology diploma
5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical systems design and programming
Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming; Siemens experience is a plus
Knowledge of industrial Ethernet networks, control panels, switchgear, and MCCs
Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
