Client Engagement & Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional communication

  • Lead presentations, workshops, and technical discussions with clients and design teams

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations

  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff, supporting their technical and professional development

  • Provide technical direction on complex assignments and support team coordination

  • Contribute to training, knowledge sharing, and team standardization

  • Strengthen our collaborative and inclusive NVA culture across Canadian offices

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Strong foundation in architectural acoustics, HVAC noise control, and vibration isolation

  • Experience with room acoustics and building simulation tools such as Odeon, EASE, INSUL, or equivalent

  • Experience with P3, IPD, or progressive design-build project delivery methods is considered an asset

  • Knowledge of standards, including National Building Code, CSA Z317.2, ASHRAE Guidelines, FGI Guidelines, and relevant ISO/ASTM standards

  • Strong communication skills with strengths in client engagement, presentations, and negotiation

  • Organized, creative, and capable of managing multiple assignments

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, CAD software, and relevant acoustics tools

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to support occasional planned fieldwork and travel
