What are your contributions to the team?

• Resolve fit, form or functional technical engineering issues on Aircraft components and for repairs required during the manufacture of the Bombardier Aerospace products.
• Find solutions to any related engineering problem with the aircraft structure and/or systems that is reported and raise necessary documentation to overcome the problem quickly and efficiently.
• Repair and/or salvage dispositions with respect to Engineering specifications, concepts and integrity of design, as well as, sign for dispositions on behalf of the Engineering department.
• Work closely with all specialists within Engineering, such as Design, Stress, Materials Technology, Aerodynamics, Performance and others as required in order to problem solve and or address any problems reported.
• Support Production, Design Engineering, Procurement & Quality in coordinating resolutions to issues and providing Corrective Action involving Engineering.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Provide status, updates & keep current on information regarding manufacturing changes & problems.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or related field
• You have a minimum of eight (8) years MRB experience or ten (10) years design experience in Aerospace
• You have excellent knowledge of aircraft structure & system installation technical requirements
• You have Electrical & Systems experience (considered an asset)
• You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment

The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $77,000 to CAD $127,000 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
