We’re looking for a reliable, warm and energetic person to help our family with the busy after-school hours. We have two kids — a 10-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl. They’re happy-go-lucky, active and friendly kids who are involved in various sports and activities. Hours: Approximately 2:30–5:30 pm on weekdays We’re quite flexible and you don’t need to be available every day of the week. We’re happy to work around the schedule of the right person. The role would mostly involve: * School pickup and driving the kids to activities * Sometimes taking one child to an activity while hanging out with the other * Helping with homework as needed * Simple snack or meal preparation * Generally helping us manage the busy after-school period There is the option for additional hours if desired, including a later evening approximately once a week. We may also occasionally need help from 6:30–8:30 am when one parent is away for work, but this would not be a regular requirement. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable driving, and genuinely enjoys spending time with school-aged kids. A valid driver’s licence and safe driving record are required. Pay: $30/hour A family vehicle is available for driving the kids, or mileage will be reimbursed if you prefer to use your own vehicle. This could be a great fit for an experienced nanny, university student, teacher/EA, or someone looking for a flexible part-time position.
