Join our team as a Systems Engineer and contribute to the evolution of a defense project. This role involves defining hardware and software requirements in collaboration with clients, focusing on networking, IP protocols, routing protocols, and systems management applications. The position requires a strong analytical mindset to translate requirements into use cases and work closely with development and integration teams to ensure seamless functionality.

Responsibilities

• Provide system and product level design and support.
• Document system and subsystem requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents, and use cases.
• Manage System Problem Reports (SPRs) and Observations by providing upfront analysis and input for bug fixes.
• Support integration and test activities, including reviewing test cases, analyzing results, and resolving discrepancies.
• Participate in meetings and reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations.
• Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to meeting key program milestones and commitments.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with only 1 or 2 days per week required in the office. Our Client provides a flexible work environment with options for compressed work weeks, flexible start times, and shutdown periods. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00 / hr.
