What You'll Do as a Business Development Lead: Drive Growth & Sales * Identify and close high-potential opportunities, from pilot projects to full-scale rollouts. * Use consultative selling to position EAE as a transformative solution. * Build and manage a strong, multi-year sales pipeline. * Partner with system integrators, OEMs, and EPCs to expand reach. Shape Market Strategy * Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that position open software defined automation as a disruptive force. * Analyze market trends and customer pain points to guide strategic decisions. * Build trust with stakeholders to support change management and adoption. Collaborate for Success * Engage with engineering, IT, and executive teams to drive adoption. * Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams. * Provide customer insights to influence product roadmaps and innovation. * Coordinate with technical teams to deliver tailored automation solutions. If you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed, we still encourage you to apply for the position. * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in consultative selling and business development, ideally including the introduction of new solutions. * Strong knowledge of industrial automation or industrial software and its applications. * Ability to translate technical challenges into business value. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. * Willingness to travel up to 50%. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. For Ontario applicants, this posting complies with provincial law which does not require disclosure of the pay range.
