Job descriptionLicensed Professional Engineer in Canada Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in concrete design Proficiency in E-Tabs software and other structural analysis tools would be an asset Required to obtain professional license for Maine, Massachusetts and other states as supported by the company Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience working in a team setting focused on critical thinking and effective time management
Responsibilities
- Design precast / prestressed concrete elements
- Prepare detailed designs and calculations for precast / prestressed elements
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Provide technical support throughout full project lifecycle
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design solutions
- Understanding of precast concrete design principles and construction practices
- Stay updated with standard codes, practices and training
