Job Summary: The IT Infrastructure & Network Support Specialist is a technical role responsible for providing end-user IT support while also supporting and maintaining the organization’s network and core IT infrastructure. This role bridges frontline IT support and backend network operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and technically strong, with experience supporting users while also troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues.
Duties and Responsibilities: IT Support / End-User Services
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for end users (onsite)
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, PDAs and operating system issues.
Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests
Support printers, peripherals, AV equipment, and meeting rooms
Log, track, and resolve incidents and requests using the IT ticketing system
Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership until resolution
Document solutions, procedures, and user guides
Network and Infrastructure Support:
Monitor and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN environments
Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and access issues
Support network devices including switches, firewalls, access points, and routers
Assist with network changes, upgrades, and documentation
Support server and infrastructure environments (on-prem and/or cloud)
Assist with backup, patching, and system maintenance activities
Work with vendors and service providers for escalations and outages
Follow change management and security best practices
Security & Compliance:
Support endpoint security, MFA, and access control policies
Assist with vulnerability remediation and security incidents
Enforce IT policies and acceptable use standards
Participate in audits and compliance-related activities as required
Operational & Process Responsibilities:
Adhere to defined SLAs and OLAs
Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes
Contribute to continuous improvement of IT services
Support after-hours or on-call rotations when required
Required Competencies:
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
3–6 years of combined IT support and network experience
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
Experience with:
Microsoft 365
Active Directory
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
Wired and wireless networks
Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills
