Job Title : Security Guard - Casual
Location : Waterloo, ON
Type : Part Time -Backup
Pay Rate : $20 - 21.42 per hour
Positions : 2 openings
Mandatory : Must have 5 years continuous residency in Canada (Site Specific Clearance required)
OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Guard - Casual to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Continuously oversee alarm systems and CCTV cameras to detect and assess potential security threats.
- Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
- Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
- Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
- Manage remote access to secure areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Conduct routine checks of security systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and are up to date.
- Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.
