Job Description
Our client, a long-time local manufacturer, is looking for a General Labourers to join their Labeling Department! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application.

This role will be responsible for labeling cans as outlined on the manufacturing order. This is manual work, you must be able to lift 35 pounds, count, and read/write/understand English fluently. This position will start as soon as possible. Mid-week or Monday.

Salary:
$19.00 per hour, temporary to permanent.

Hours of Work:
Our client is currently hiring for the night shift for this position.

The shift times will be as follows:
Sunday, 6:00pm - 4:30am, Monday to Wednesday, 5:00pm - 3:30am, Thursday overtime if required.
Note: You must be able to start on day shift for 2 to 3 weeks for training, before moving to nights.

Responsibilities

• Safely labeling cans as outlined on the manufacturing order.
  
• Interpreting and creating paperwork related to the order.
  
• Communication with team members about requirements and quality to ensure smooth operation.
  
• Routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment.
  
• With attention to detail, checking labels to ensure accuracy.
  
• General help with other tasks as needed.
  

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a strong asset.
  
• Must have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  
• Comfort level with completing a lot of paperwork.
  
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
  
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
  
• Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.
  
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
