About Our Client

Our client is sourcing a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting, for a 10-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare standalone financial statements for carved-out entities from consolidated financials.

Lead detailed carve-out accounting, including allocation of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses.

Analyze and properly account for intercompany transactions at the separate entity level (including transactions that will no longer eliminate).

Support external reporting requirements, including financial statements and related disclosures.

Partner cross-functionally (FP&A, Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting) to ensure accurate entity-level reporting.

Act as a key liaison with external auditors and manage audit deliverables.

Assist with consolidation activities and reconciliations during the transition to standalone reporting.

Contribute to process improvements and documentation of accounting policies.

About You

CPA designated with strong external reporting and consolidations experience

Deep understanding of intercompany accounting and eliminations.

Experience working directly with auditors.

Experience with Workiva (Wdesk) or OneStream is an asset; mining industry exposure is a plus.
