Branch General Manager – Mechanical & HVAC Sector

Our client is a well‑known national manufacturer and distributor supporting commercial contractors, mechanical engineering firms, and developers across Canada’s HVAC market. With a strong presence in British Columbia, they pride themselves on exceptional service and a customer‑first approach. We are searching for a highly dedicated and proven Branch General Manager to lead sales and operations for their Victoria business unit.

Location & Relocation – Based in Victoria, British Columbia. Candidates from Greater Vancouver / Fraser Valley will receive support for relocation to the island.

Responsibilities

• Overall P&L responsibility and budget forecasting, achieving sales and gross profit targets.
• Hiring, training and developing employees to create a high‑performing team.
• Developing and implementing strategies to improve productivity.
• Identifying new markets and increasing market share.
• Managing multi‑department branch operations and warehousing, including inside sales, administration, logistics.
• Building a strong service and delivery team through recruiting, coaching, training, and mentoring.
• Ensuring all operations are managed safely and in accordance with the company’s values.
• Maintaining a strong customer‑service focus to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth.
