Job description

Are you a skilled Shipper Receiver holding a valid forklift license and looking for a reliable daytime schedule? Randstad is hiring a full-time Shipper Receiver for a busy building materials supplier in Edmonton!

Highlights:

Pay Rate: $23.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)

Environment: Dynamic mix of indoor and outdoor warehouse duties

Advantages
Enjoy your evenings and weekends with a consistent Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift.
Earn a solid $23.00 per hour.
Keep active with a great mix of indoor warehouse and outdoor yard responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move, and stage building materials throughout the facility.
Prepare and meticulously verify shipping and receiving documentation, utilizing warehouse shipping systems and completing required paperwork.
Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage, ensuring precise inventory control.
Organize inventory and maintain clean, orderly, and safe warehouse and yard areas.

Qualifications
Must possess a valid Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift ticket with proven operational experience in a busy environment.
Strong background in shipping/receiving operations, documentation, and inventory control.
Must be highly comfortable and willing to work outdoors in the yard as well as inside the warehouse.
Comfortable using shipping systems, computers, and completing accurate paperwork.
