Job description

Adecco is currently hiring an Inventory Analyst for a full-time opportunity within an agricultural supply chain environment in Lethbridge, AB. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in logistics, distribution, inventory management, SAP, transportation coordination, and supply chain operations.

  • Pay Rate: $34/hour
  • Location: Lethbridge, AB

Responsibilities:
Logistics & Distribution

  • Coordinate shipments and returns between processing facilities, warehouses, carriers, and customers.
  • Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor transportation activities and support distribution planning.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders.

Inventory Management

  • Track and manage inventory levels using SAP and internal systems.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Support inventory control, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure adequate warehouse capacity to support production requirements.

Customer & Operational Support

  • Provide exceptional customer service and logistics support.
  • Communicate shipment updates and resolve logistics issues.
  • Collaborate with customer service, warehouse, and production teams to ensure efficient operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and supply chain performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2-year Business Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in logistics, distribution, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • Experience with inventory tracking and inventory control processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation, shipping, and logistics operations.
  • Manufacturing, agricultural, or distribution experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility and creativity to resolve operational challenges.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
