Job description



Our client is a large, established, values-driven organization with a strong community focus. They are seeking a Procurement & Facilities Manager to join their team in a newly created senior management role.

This is primarily a procurement leadership position (approximately 60% procurement / 40% facilities). The successful candidate will help strengthen and improve organization-wide procurement practices while providing strategic oversight and guidance around facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement leader who enjoys building, improving and bringing structure to processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve organization-wide procurement strategies, policies and processes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Broader Public Sector procurement requirements
  • Lead competitive RFPs, tenders and major contract reviews
  • Manage vendor relationships and organization-wide contracts
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing practices, consistency and efficiency
  • Develop procedures, tools and training to support teams across the organization
  • Provide strategic guidance on facilities operations, vendors, maintenance, capital projects and risk
  • Work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to implement improvements
  • Lead, coach and develop a small team
  • Support the development of consistent best practices across multiple locations



Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive procurement experience
  • Senior-level procurement leadership or management experience
  • Experience with Broader Public Sector (BPS) procurement is highly preferred
  • Strong experience with competitive RFPs, contracts, vendor management and procurement processes
  • Experience improving or developing procurement policies, procedures and systems
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work strategically while remaining practical and solutions-oriented
  • Several years of facilities experience is ideal
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
