Responsible for receiving function in SAP to ensure costs are incurred in a timely manner Responsible for coordination with construction team to collect bills of lading / shipment receipts Responsible for managing project invoices (reviewing for compliance resolving issues tracking invoice status) Coordinate invoice issues with buyers financeproject controls and construction coordinators Responsible for managing project records and saving documentation in project document repository Accountable for driving towards zero exceptions in the procure to pay process for receiving function Actively participates and aids in the development of vendor improvement plans Assist project teams with ad hoc tasks as required Vendor Set-Up and maintenance of vendor records An undergraduate degree in Business Administration preferred Proven organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts : multi-disciplinary project & program meetings technical reviews with solution provider / vendor / supplier and subject matter experts Experience in program management would be considered an asset Ability to interpret process flow charts to understand what data is captured and how it travels between various applications Ability to build positive working relationships with professionals within industry and internal clients Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Attention to detail mathematical and analytical skills Solid research skills and commitment to continually learn about new products / technologies / processes Proficiency using Microsoft office (Excel Outlook Word PowerPoint) and SAP (Procure to pay)

Aecon is currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join our civil east sector. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the Procure to Pay process. The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for managing the receiving costs using SAP (Aecons Enterprise Resource Management tool) and managing invoicing activities.
