Canadian Personal Banking (CPB)provides a comprehensive suite of deposit, saving, payment and lending products and advice through a network of 1,062 branches, 3,438 automated teller machines (ATM), mobile specialized salesforce, and telephone, mobile and internet banking services. JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will supportthe Everyday Banking,Savings & Investing team in managingthe risk associated withFraud and Anti-Money Laundering.

We'relooking for a curious and motivated individual to join our team and help us tackle one of the biggest challenges in banking today – preventing fraud and protecting our customers.

In this role,you'llwork closely withcross functional partnersto analyze data, improve reporting, and helpidentifyopportunities to reduce fraud losses. You'llgain hands on experience in how banks detect fraud, assessriskand designcontrolsand keep customers safe.

Main Responsibilities

  • AnalyzeNon-CreditLoss reporting toidentifytrends and insights

  • Helpidentifyopportunities to reduce fraud losses and improve controls

  • Assistwith implementing updates across multiple channels to support regulatory and policy changes

  • Support fraud risk assessment by reviewing processes and potential risks

  • Help draft and update standard operatingprocedures (SOPs) to improve consistency across the team

  • Assistwith reporting improvements and data analysis

  • Contributeideasto improve how we detect and prevent fraud

Skills/experience

  • Self-starter, independent, proactive, and committed tohigh standardsof excellence and ownership

  • Curious and interested in data, fraudpreventionor risk management

  • Comfortable working with data andidentifyingtrends

  • Organized and able to document processes clearly

  • Astrong communicatorwho can share insights and ask thoughtful questions

  • Proficient with Excel or data analysis tools

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currentlyenrolled inan3rd – 4th year of an undergraduate degree ORmaster's degreein Finance, Accounting,Finance,Analytics, Data,Business/Commerceor related field

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school atthe start of your work term
