Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Manual Side-Load OR Rear Pack recycling collection truck on assigned residential routes.
Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete all required daily documentation
Collect residential recycling and waste in accordance with route and safety standards
Operate hydraulic and compaction systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage
Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents immediately
Maintain route productivity, service quality, and customer service standards
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, PPE requirements, and traffic regulations
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and professional company representation
Work collaboratively with Helpers and Supervisors to support efficient operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
Valid Ontario DZ (or higher) driver’s licence with clean Abstract and CVOR
Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (or accredited training)
Ability to safely operate collection vehicles and hydraulic equipment
Ability to meet safety-sensitive position requirements
Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime/early start schedules
