Job Title: Deburrer

Location: Aldergrove, BC

Pay rate: $21-23/hr

Day Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm

Afternoon Shift: 2:45pm–11:15pm

Job Description

Join a well‑established, safety‑focused manufacturing team as a Deburrer in a heavy industrial environment. In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with grinders, hand tools, power tools, and perform basic MIG welding to support the production of industrial-sized rims for large mining trucks. This is an excellent position for individuals who enjoy hands‑on mechanical work and are interested in pursuing a welding apprenticeship in the future.

Note: This location is NOT transit accessible

Responsibilities

• Grind and finish pre‑welded/fabricated rims using belt sanders, grinders, and shop tools
• Perform basic MIG welding tasks as required
• Conduct visual inspections for defects (training provided)
• Occasionally operate forklifts and overhead cranes
• Support production workflow using various hand and power tools

Essential Skills

• Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility
• Open to both morning and afternoon shifts

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• C‑level welding ticket is an asset
• Overhead crane experience is an advantage
• Motivated, positive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative

Work Environment

You’ll work in a large, open, heavy‑industrial shop dedicated to manufacturing rims for the mining industry. The environment can be cold and gritty, but it fosters a strong sense of teamwork and pride. Many employees have been with the company for 20+ years. You will begin on the day shift, with potential movement to the afternoon shift depending on business needs.
