  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mining engineers and technical staff.
  • Support the implementation of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in site visits, field inspections, and operational reviews as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with ventilation systems and mine infrastructure planning considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of underground mining methods, sequencing, and operational requirements.
  • Experience with mine planning software such as Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, or similar platforms.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior engineers.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.) or eligibility considered an asset.
  • Mining operations experience is strongly preferred.

Benefits
