The Director, Financial Performance reports to the Associate Vice President, Finance and provides strategic leadership in internal budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight. The role advances financial stewardship across BC Housing by ensuring internal financial data informs executive decision‑making, resource allocation, and organizational performance. The Director leads the development of internal financial reporting for the Executive Committee, Board of Commissioners, and other governance bodies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage internal financial reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and accountability frameworks.
- Evaluate budget utilization and resource alignment across programs, identifying opportunities to optimize performance and manage budget pressures.
- Champion the use of technology as an enabler of financial stewardship, aligning systems with business needs and supporting forecasting discipline.
- Lead cross‑functional transformation initiatives, embedding financial accountability into organizational change efforts and supporting Strategy 2030 implementation.
- Provide leadership in research, financial analysis, and complex financial matters.
- Mentor and motivate staff in a team setting.
