Job description

Randstad Canada is currently seeking experienced Payroll Clerks for full-time permanent positions.

The successful candidate will have experience preparing, processing and distributing weekly payroll. This role will be supporting the finance department in a full time capacity, on-site, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements
  • Maintain employee personal information as it relates to payroll
  • Qualifications

  • High-school diploma. Degree or diploma in accounting
  • PCP certification strongly preferred
  • 2-4 Years of related strong payroll and accounts payable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application and payroll software (ADP, QuickBooks, Payworks or similar)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
