Job descriptionDeliver exceptional customer service by greeting clients promptly, actively listening to their concerns, and clearly communicating service details, timelines, and estimates throughout the repair process. Accurately document vehicle issues and repair needs by creating detailed service orders and collaborating with technicians to ensure clarity and efficiency in diagnosing and resolving problems. Coordinate service workflow effectively by scheduling appointments, managing technician availability, and providing timely updates to customers regarding the progress and completion of their vehicle’s service. Promote preventative maintenance and repair services by identifying vehicle needs and educating customers on recommended services to improve vehicle performance and longevity. Support the service department’s success by maintaining a professional image, staying informed on warranty and insurance policies, and supporting team goals related to productivity and customer satisfaction. Previous experience in an automotive service role. Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair terminology. Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Comfortable working with computers and dealership software.

Role Overview :
The Service Advisor acts as a key link between customers and the service department, serving as the first point of contact for vehicle service and repair inquiries. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, understanding and documenting their concerns, and guiding them through the service process professionally. Building trust and providing accurate, timely information ensures a seamless and positive service experience.
The role also involves conducting follow-ups during and after service appointments to keep customers informed and ensure satisfaction. Road-testing vehicles to verify issues or confirm repairs may also be part of the duties.
