POSITION TYPE FULL-TIME, 40 HOURS / WEEK About the Role : Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Program Accountant is responsible for managing funder reporting, accounts receivable, and program budgeting. This role involves managing collections, revenue and deferred revenue journal entries, and bank and AR reconciliations. The Program Accountant ensures accurate financial records, supports audits, and contributes to program financial compliance.Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for financial accuracy and program success? • Prepare journal entries to allocate overhead expenses to programs
• Address funder inquiries related to collections and expense eligibility
• Prepare funder reports to meet compliance requirements
• Manage AR reconciliations, invoices, and collections
• Support audits by preparing documentation and analysis
• Assist in program budgeting and variance reporting
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure financial accuracy
• Build and maintain relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality, and financial record keeping
