About the Opportunity

· Process payroll accurately and on a timely basis for hourly and salaried employees.

· Review and validate timesheets, payroll inputs, and supporting documentation.

· Ensure payroll data is complete, accurate, and ready for processing.

· Manage payroll adjustments, deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related changes.

· Prepare and maintain payroll records, reports, and year-end documentation.

· Support the preparation of payroll-related reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports.

· Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with applicable policies, legislation, and regulations.

· Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to maintain accurate employee and payroll records.

· Assist with year-end payroll activities and required government filings.

· Respond to payroll-related questions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

· Maintain confidentiality of employee and business information.

· Prioritize responsibilities and consistently meet payroll deadlines.

· Collaborate effectively with team members and support broader payroll and finance initiatives.

About You

· 3+ years of progressive, hands-on payroll experience.

· Experience with payroll processing, reconciliations, and audit support.

· Strong knowledge of payroll practices, legislation, and compliance requirements.

· Experience with payroll systems and strong Excel skills.

· Payroll certification or equivalent education and experience is preferred.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet recurring deadlines.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

· Calm, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $80,000 / year
