Job description

Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Production Operator, where you will be instrumental in producing fuel cell components and assembling plates and stacks in a state-of-the-art pilot production plant. This contract position, initially for six months, offers the potential for extension. You will work on both the automation and manual lines within a clean room environment, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Produce fuel cell components according to work instructions.
  • Assemble plates and stacks related to the final product of fuel cell components.
  • Set up equipment as per work instructions.
  • Perform visual inspection of produced parts at various production stages.
  • Support logistics by transporting and moving parts according to production needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the working area and equipment.
  • Document processes clearly and accurately.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of recent experience in a similar work environment or relevant technical role.
  • Technical experience.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and TEAMS.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work on different production stations with increasing levels of complexity and responsibility.
  • Experience with machine operating.

Work Environment

The position offers a flexible shift schedule, with initial training on the day shift followed by rotations of AM/GY shifts. Work in a clean room environment with controlled humidity and temperature, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The pay range for this position is $21.44 - $21.44/hr.
