Packaging Operator

Pay Rate $19.00 / hour | Whitby, ON

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Packaging Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will work on the packaging line, handling tasks such as capping, cartoning, and palletizing pharmaceuticals. This role requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and involves inspecting packaged parts, ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed, and documenting tasks accurately. The work environment is fast-paced, and the role involves moving products that can weigh up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line including capping, cartoning, and palletizing.
• Follow GMP guidelines and SOPs.
• Inspect packaged parts for expiry dates, appearance, and completeness.
• Move products that can weigh up to 25 lbs, with rare instances of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Adapt to different lines and tasks within a fast-paced environment.
• Document tasks accurately and maintain computer literacy.

Afternoons (2 : 00 - 10 : 30 ,

Nights (10 : 00 - 6 : 30

weekend shift from Friday to Sunday (6 : 00 - 6 : 30 .

Base pay : $19.00 / hour- Premiums for afternoon and night shift
