Job description
Our client in Brampton is looking to add an assembler to their team! This role involves assembling, testing, and packaging valve assemblies to meet specific customer requirements while working within a mechanical assembly environment that adheres to Lean Manufacturing principles and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, the ability to read blueprints and drawings, and proficiency with tools such as impact guns, torque wrenches, and vernier calipers, along with the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.

Shift timing :6 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay rate :$20/hr

Responsibilities
- Select proper components for assembly.
- Assemble components according to customer specifications and engineering
instructions.
-Perform testing of assembled valves and maintain accurate records.
- Package assembled valves for shipping.
- Follow standard work practices, method sheets, and instructions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to Lean Manufacturing processes and
FEM requirements.
- Report damages or malfunctions of equipment and tools to the supervisor.
- Use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
-3–5 years of experience in a mechanical assembly environment.
- Crane training is an asset.
- Knowledge of general assembly and testing processes.
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow engineering instructions.
- Proficiency in using general assembly tools such as impact guns, torque
wrenches, etc.
- Experience using measuring equipment, including vernier calipers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Assembly experience with pipe fittings is an asset.
