Job Overview:
Join a leading manufacturer of aluminum extrusions as an Industrial Millwright in Pickering, ON. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced millwrights with a strong background in heavy industrial environments.

If you have a proven track record in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulics, bearings, chains, and conveyors.
  • Perform arc welding as needed for equipment repairs.
  • Maintain and repair natural gas furnaces (ovens).
  • Handle v-belts, couplings, and alignments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to meet production demands.

Qualifications:

  • Certified 433A Millwright/Industrial Mechanic.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in arc welding and maintenance of natural gas furnaces.
  • Excellent knowledge of v-belts, couplings, and equipment alignments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 12-hour continental rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
