Purpose of the Role :
As the Manufacturing Control Engineer, you will be responsible for refining & improving existing processes and supporting the development of new automation equipment / assembly lines. You will also work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire life cycle of the product and processes. You will work closely with our Product Design Engineering, Quality, Production and Maintenance teams to bring components from initial design, through prototype development and finally into full production.
The incumbent will play a critical role in creating world-class, high-volume Industry manufacturing plants for Svante as we expand to meet the global demand for Carbon Dioxide capture products (Structured Adsorbent Beds – SAB).
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or Electrical / Controls Engineering.
- You have + years of experience as a hands-on Controls Engineer or Applications Engineer working on automation and / or manufacturing processes.
- You have experience with PLC Programming (Allen Bradley preferred), HMI, and RSLOGIX software.
- You have experience with data collection and visualization software mainly Ignition.
- You have worked with Vision and Sensing systems (, Cognex, Keyence).
- You have experience creating technical specifications for automated manufacturing equipment.
