The life of a SARCAN Labourer: Each and every SARCAN team member is an important part of our team and our community. As a Labourer you will be responsible for: Loading/Unloading truck trailers Operating manual or power pallet jacks to move materials Following lock-out procedures for the glass shack and/or general equipment as required Operating cardboard baler Working on upper container conveyor belts Material handling (glass, cardboard, metal containers, electronics, etc.) Performing general clean-up duties as required Attending training and workshops as required Performing other duties as assigned Becoming the biggest recycling expert among all of your family and friends What are the skills you must have to perform this role?
To be successful as a Labourer at SARCAN, you will need to: Possess good communication, both written and verbal Display amazing customer service skills Have the ability to do physical work Be dependable and reliable Related experience is an asset Ability to work in a safe and timely manner is essential Experience operating a forklift training would be an asset Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employment Are you interested in joining our team?
