We are currently seeking a Financial Transactions Manager to oversee all financial transaction operations, ensuring their accuracy, compliance, and optimization, while leading the team, improving processes, and supporting decision-making through relevant analyses and reports

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the daily processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, invoicing, and payments.
  • Oversee monthly and annual closing activities related to financial transactions and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Serve as a business partner to department heads by assisting them in managing their annual budgets.
  • Analyze transactional data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data in accordance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a financial transactions team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Coordinate closely with the procurement, logistics, sales, and other stakeholder teams to resolve transactional discrepancies and optimize workflows.
  • Contribute to initiatives for the automation and continuous improvement of financial processes.
  • Perform all other related tasks as needed.

What You Bring

  • Proven ability to manage priorities, meet tight deadlines, and lead a team.
  • Inspiring leadership, ability to develop talent and foster collaboration.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel (advanced level).
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a keen analytical mind.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience in financial transaction management or accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPA designation (a significant asset).
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and transactional financial processes.
  • Experience with SAP (a plus)
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment (a plus).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
