We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Machine Operator to join a premier manufacturing & logistics facility in Milton, Ontario. As a Production Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in the heart of the production floor, ensuring that the assembly line runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys the challenge of troubleshooting production line issues in real-time to keep operations moving.

At this facility, the Production Machine Operator is more than just a button-pusher; you are a technical guardian of quality. You will be responsible for managing a high-speed line, performing vital preventative maintenance, and executing mould changes to keep up with diverse production demands. JOB TITLE - Machine Operator
LOCATION – Milton ( No bus accessible )
PAY RATE - $25.52
SHIFT – MONDAY TO THURSDAY – night shift

Responsibilities
• Operate and manage a fast-paced production line to meet daily output targets.
• Monitor products continuously to ensure they meet strict quality and production standards.
• Perform physical inspections for product defects and ensure products are cured correctly.
• Execute frequent mould changes and assist with specialized maintenance work.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot production line interruptions and implement immediate problem-solving strategies.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by performing clean-up tasks on presses, mixers, and work areas.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing & logistics team to optimize flow and reduce waste.
• Accurate reporting of production numbers and any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.


Qualifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a natural ability to understand how machinery functions.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting production line machinery and technical problem-solving.
• Excellent physical stamina and the ability to perform continuous physical labour in a factory setting.
• Attention to detail for identifying minor product defects and curing inconsistencies.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members in a loud environment.
• Adaptability to handle shifting priorities, including mould changes and urgent maintenance.
